Welcome to the Brick and Blocklayers Federation of New Zealand Incorporated
The Organisation Exists to:
- Promote the use of masonry systems.
- Ensure that appropriate training of masons is achieved.
- Provide a register of Association Members.
- Provide a national focal point for the documentation of technical, promotion and legislative matter for the masonry trade in New Zealand.

From March 2012, restricted building work will be introduced. It means certain building work in residential and apartment construction can only be done by licensed building practitioners – this includes brick and blocklaying. It is now essential you decide whether to become licensed and if so make use of the Department of Building & Housings licensing workshops specifically for brick and blocklaying.
